Having a running coach with every run is impossible. That's why we have developed SHFT together with mathematical and athletic experts to give the insight and guidance to every runner during each and every one of their runs.

We have developed a UX that encompasses the App, Voice Coaching and the Physical Product. In every step of the way, the runner is guided carefully to improve a technique that will take them further with less injuries.

We have followed an iterative, human-centered development process throughout the project and tested our hypothesis in real-life situations whenever we can.
ONE ON YOUR SHOE, ONE ON YOUR CHEST
SHFT sits comfortably as two pods. One on your shoe and the other on your chest. It analyzes every step in great detail including the runner's posture. Gives real time voice feedback, analyzes, and let's you improve your metrics one at a time.
EVERY METRIC COUNTS
We know that too much analysis bring paralysis. In order to avoid that we have made each metric as visual as possible and also grouped several metrics together to give the runner a simple SHFT score that represents the overall technique of their run.
MOVEMENT, IMPACT & EFFICIENCY
Each metric belongs to either of these groups that gives a good overview of past runs through a rich but clear interface together with history and progress.
SCIENTIFIC BUT SOCIAL
The UI lends itself to a fine balance between the scientific presentation of the metrics and the coaching input.
